形態特徵

• Herbs to 40 cm tall; stems quadrangular toward tip, younger branches hirsute.
• Leaves oblong-lanceolate, 5–8 cm long, 2–4 cm wide, apex acute to acuminate, base gradually narrowed and decurrent into petiole, margins shallowly crenate, upper surface glabrous, lower surface minutely strigose along veins beneath; petiole 5–8 mm long, sparingly strigose.
• Spikes terminal, to 2 cm long; bracts oblong-lanceolate, margins sparingly ciliate; calyx ca. 7 mm long, hirsute on dorsal surface, segments linear-lanceolate; corolla white, puberulent above, glabrous below, limb 5-lobed, lobes orbicular; stamens exserted, longer filaments to 2 mm long, villous near base, shorter filaments glabrous; anthers ca. 1.5 mm long; ovary villous on upper half; style villous throughout.
• Capsule oblong, somewhat acuminate; seeds ovoid, minutely pubescent.

• 台灣 : only on Lanyu Is.
• 世界 : The Philippines.
